We at New Paradigm Consulting have successfully worked with Bangor, Northern Ireland based Whale Pumps since 2012. Whale Pumps are renowned for supplying markets around the world with innovative freshwater, bilge and waste pumps and water and space heating systems.
Most recently, we supported Whale Pumps with successfully transitioning from BS OHSAS18001:2007 to ISO45001:2018 in March 2019. This project required us to incorporate the requirements of ISO 45001 into the existing certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management System. Given that one our core values is to always create ISO compliant Management Systems based on an organisation’s own processes rather than basing it on clauses in a standard, the team at Whale Pumps only noticed some subtle differences in their Management System as the architecture of the system was largely untouched.
A big congratulations to Stephen (New Paradigm Consulting), Graham, Jen and the rest of the team @ Whale Pumps for all their hard work. This successful transition process really outlines the organisation’s huge commitment to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of their stakeholders.
